In this article, I will show you how to access an EC2 instance's file system using filezilla.
π₯οΈ Step 1: Download Filezilla
go to https://google.com, search for Filezilla, you would get the website as below.
click on the Filezilla website link, you would come to the website https://filezilla-project.org, as below.
click on the Download Filezilla Client as below.
click on the Filezilla Download as below.
π¦ Step 2: Install Filezilla
After Download you would get Filezilla .exe file as below.
Just Install it, after installation you would get filezilla application as below
βοΈ Step 3: Configure Basic Settings
As mentioned in the above image, click on the box icon to open the setup section as below
Click on New Site
Write a name for the connection
After that you have to add details to below Fields
Protocol: SFTP - SSH File Transfer Protocol
HOST: 3.134.117.146 (Your EC2 public IP)
User: ubuntu (Your EC2 server username, if you didn't changed it would be ubuntu)
Password: ubuntu (Your EC2 server password, if you didn't changed it would be ubuntu)
it would look as below
π Step 4: Add Private Key Pair
on the top left corner of the menu bar you would see Edit, Click on it
from the drop down select Settings..
Under Connection click on SFTP
you would get a screen like below
Click on Add key file..
select the ppk file that I have shown in the blog EC2 setup
you would get a screen like below
Now click on OK
Your setup is done
π Step 5: Connect
Now again click on the box icon to open the setup section as below
Now select your connection and click on Connect
you would be able to access all your files and folders as below

Congratulations! You've successfully connected your EC2 instance with your Filezilla.
